    I have an affinity for languages and Spanish has been on my list for a long time. While I lived in New York I acquired some basic Spanish skills and could understand simple conversations. Spanish is the easiest language I’ve studied and the most memorable one. It matches my temperament, sounds pretty, and, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful languages.     Desert rose

    We have an afternoon left to spend in Jordan before we head to Israel. We really want to see Wadi Rum desert, but time doesn’t permit to explore this unique and huge area. Is it possible to get a glimpse of it just for a few hours? We realize that the best way to explore this vast area is to camp under the stars for a few days and go on day jeep tours. Ali, our contact in Jordan regarding transportation, gives us hope: he promises to send one of his private drivers to show us some interesting rock formations before we leave for the Israeli border.     Social media personas and behaviors

    When I created my personal social media profile in 2008, I was ”faceless” – no profile picture, no personal information. One of the first people I added as a ”friend” back then repeatedly encouraged me to add a photo of myself. I did, eventually. The Facebook machine had swallowed me and there was no point of return. I’ve never posted daily or a few times per day. Not because I had nothing to say. I always have something to say, the question is why should I. Hygiene of sharing is important, methinks.
